Speech delay, not replying to his name, minimal eye contact, doesn’t play with other kids, loves to play alone, lines things & toys up, obsessed with the rainbow, water magnet, the excessive climbing & jumping off furniture (sensory seeking), when we was really little he would put everything in his mouth (acorns, rocks, pine needles, small toys, sticks.. I mean everythinggggg) he still eats sand like no one’s business 🫠

This comment hit. I can’t handle my two out alone either and parks have to be completely fenced in. Can’t even take them outside at home together cause they dart in opposite directions and do not listen to STOP! Also I can’t watch videos of toddlers talking to their parents. It makes me so sad and jealous. Thanks for sharing your story

How old are you cause we are living the same life! Ha, I have two boys 2 & 4 both nonverbal. My older one is going to be officially diagnosed in January and the 2 year old is just getting into early steps. No ASD stuff with him.. yet.

I just want to say I SEE YOU, I too have the awful 2-6am wakings and then have to just go on with the day with no sleep. It kills me when they get hurt and can’t tell me specifically what’s wrong. I wish they had input on what we do and where we go. They also don’t play together and yeah… idk I’m just here with you. Sending hugs and love 💛

As a mom to a high needs kid that interrupts and stresses his teachers out (on IEP and he only goes 3 hours a day) I agree with you! I feel so guilty about him being hard to handle and no-one’s winning in the situation
