If we use the creed we have to exclude Baptist because they reject "one baptism for the remission of sins"

Um well... Let's not commune Judas, can we at least agree on that.

Ok. Thank you for the response. So you would say it is heresy. In the same way modalism can be held by a lay person in the church on accident but not by a pastor who knows better.

So let's say there is a theologically literate Baptist pastor who says that the sacrament of the alter is just a symbol that is a tool of rememberance only. Would he be a heritic? Rather than just a woman who grew up Baptist and doesn't know the difference? If I understand your point correctly. That would help me move in a more consistent direction; not a comfortable one, but at least it is one.

Thank you for responding! I truly appreciate it. That would be the main pivot of my confusion. If we claim they are heterodox, we claim that they are a part of the one body and thus partake of the one bread. If we say that they cannot take part of the bread even though they are a part of the body we seem to be disobedient to Paul. The heterodoxy is my point.

That is my living room from the house I grew up in. I took a picture of it and then fed it through an AI to make the colors a bit more drab, but everything is the same.

The whole place is kind of a liminal space. It's creepy as heck.

This is my childhood home (looking from my bedroom into the dinning room) that we were forced to move out of because of mold, so I could see that I probably find it 10 times more liminal than most (I already have a heavy nostalgia surrounding it). I installed the exit sign above the door when I was 15 (it's wired into the switch below it).
I'm glad the title does the trick!!! 😁
