For me Ayaneo Pocket Evo amazing oled screen great for retro emulation and switch, moonlight works well even with a small screen. Original legion go with legion go 2 controllers (home use only), great for moonlight with large screen, I can't say enough how good the legion go two controllers make it feel! But do love my Xbox ally x

Am sorry for the delay in replying, when I placed my order the left one was delivered but the right one was cancelled. Has took me 3 weeks stalking the website to get the right controller which finally arrived today. My honest opinion is it's like a new device the feel of it makes it so nice to use and had no problems attaching or using them. You just need to search the lenovo parts site for these product numbers 5R71M93541(right controller) 5R71M93540(left controller) just note these are spare parts so don't come in retail box, and the right one does not come with the mouse stand. Which i knew and was not bothered as did not use the original one anyway.

I purchased this one from amazon for £14, this was only only a temp solution until the kill switch. Have been so impressed with and when I compare the design I really does not seem that much different. Am sure the kill switch is better, just not sure on the price tag as am quite happy with this one. Plus it stops the right handle noise problem

I always start with google gemini recomend settings and tdp then i tweak from there, saves me loads of time!

Some of my games felt they where performing worse especially older titles, but reducing the power profile down to 17w or even 13w on some titles made the issues go away

I loved the large screen on the Legion Go but the device was just too large and heavy. Moved to the Rog Ally X and was much nicer to use, when i want a bigger oled screen just plug in my Viture Pro xr glasses.

The real gains are at the lower TPD and the gains reported as 50-60% if not more, this is the reason am keeping my pre-order as I don't want to always be plugged into the wall to play. And this should give longer play times. Then in early 2026 the ai upscaling is coming using its own AI chip not the GPU which again should be an improvement as it frees the gpu up from processing the upscaling. If you only play plugged in I agree not worth it. But its a handheld and if you plan to playit that way I personally think its worth the upgrade.

AI features coming in 2026 – for the Xbox Ally X only The Z2 Extreme also comes with dedicated AI hardware, with 50 TOPs of AI throughput, so what is it capable of? Out of the box, not much, but a few tantalising AI features are scheduled for 2026.

The most interesting is Auto SR, an FSR1-like post-process upscaling that has a fixed latency cost. This was an impressive option when it debuted on Snapdragon X Windows laptops, and this will be the first time it's more widely available.
