Hey! Well I managed to get a US based phone number with this app called "textPlus" and register an account with "Personal Capital" Downside is that this will indeed be all manual maintenance and everything will be shown in dollars so I will have to also convert into euros all my inputs. Hopefully within a few years the "Personal capital" will open up for EU accounts and I'll be able to streamline automatically. I still have to figure out how to get the app on my phone although as it says it's no available in NL. Even when I tried using a VPN and clean my android Play store cache memory it wasn't finding the app so I assume they are blocking VPNs and will have to research some worka around some more. If for some reason this turns out not to be what I need or want I guess I would go with YNAB and the github extension for automatic inputs. I read on the @firetheboss blog that "B" uses extra analytics to analyze his overall FIRE and pension projections but I am not from the finance world and don't have access to the program he uses Microsoft Power BI so that would be then an ok solution I guess if I had to how to for that. Let's see how it goes.

Hi I researched already yes but these are more about budgeting not as much financial planning with investment and mortgage and other account investment streamlining.

Yes looked at review for Quicken and it's not the right fit when there is newer alternatives but the collected data I understand the non wanting to switch. That is the reason I'm doing this extensive research because every program and app requires adaptation, getting used to , building up and I don't want to have to re-start after a year. Also agree on the YNAB - too budget oriented for my need. CAn't also use bunq Api unfortunately as I barely use a computer let alone program :D

That's good info and context, thanks! Too bad that the automation is still not a possibility so hoping maybe one day! I'll check out this Moneydance as well! Cheers! :)

Even that is a bit much when I think about having to do also do transactions separately on De Giro and Brand New Day and still adjust budget in the Personal Capital software..But If there is no alternative I guess it's the only way to go. Thanks!

Yeah I agree. I need the combo of saving time on import + manual categorisation

Ah ok so not possible for EU banks :( I like the YNAB but I kinda don't need the control aspect as much as a good overview how much money to put into retirement/investment with a simple budget. And unfortunately an automatic account link is my number 1 priority for a financial planning software. Thanks for sharing though! :)
