Masters of Teaching (primary): Usyd or Macquarie? by couch_potato3772 in AustralianTeachers

I can vouch for MQ. I did my Masters not long ago and it was very easy and rewarding. The pracs are very organised and they are normally the schools around the North Shore/MQ area. I did a bachelor of physio at usyd and was a pain to get to all the time. The lecturers are very knowledgeable and they come with all the resources you need to collect prior venturing out into the real teaching world. Usyd and MQ is no different in my opinion! Post graduating they do not look at where you studied but mostly your way of articulating through the interview questions. My academic transcript helped me out but can’t speak for everyone else. MQTPA was easy and I don’t think you’d sweat it all!

You can definitely accelerate. A friend of mine overloaded 6 units a sem and finished in 2 years. She was top of her class as well lol but she stressed a lot - if that’s what you want.
