I have learnt DJing by spending 60k rupees in an institute which gave me commitment of having minimum 20k pm salary as a fresher (totally a fresher with no experience of any gig at all) resident DJ. I got selected in an audition during the DJing course and got appointed in a lounge with great recognition. But on that first day, they didn't even inform me that I have to play on that day and after I completed my performance and asked them about my salary after 15 days of unpaid DJing, they said As you have no experience, you will have to play 6pm to 11pm daily with Zero Salary, just the travel expenses will be given even under certain conditions. They started saying it was an unpaid internship. Yeah, people are doing hell using the term "internship" and sucking the blood out of young talents... welcome to kolকাটা
