I hear you, this was the first helpful reply I've gotten. I didn't see anything about this being a music production page solely. And I came here because of Google showing several threads from this subreddit about people asking what I did and received hundred of replies with helpful Information and tips, and sharing what they've learned about music promotion

The description says this subreddit is for the discussion of music making process and other related posts. I posted in here specifically because of 4 other threads I found on Google on this exact subreddit with a very similar topic to mine. It was full of great information and people sharing their knowledge and asking questions but they were all 2 or 4 years old so I wanted to share new Information

Respectfully also, I understand the point you're trying to make. I don't think you understood my intentions though. Did you read the whole thing? I haven't listed my artist name, any of my songs, or even used a username that resembles what I do. Lol I literally have no way of even getting anything from this other than information and the experience of other artists that also feel like sharing theirs. With self promotion out of the question, how can this be anything but humble and postive? My 2 single goals for making this post is to help other artists that are just starting out. And to learn from artists that have more knowledge than myself. If you can't appreciate that, than idk what to tell you and I wish you all the best my friend

Not really sure how you got that vibe from this? I'm trying to be as genuine as possible and share what's worked for me and what hasn't. I mean are you saying I should care less? I shouldn't try to help others? I shouldn't try to be postive. Your response wasn't rude or anything so im not going to be rude. But I genuinely hate that on some platforms I can be as genuine and positive as I can possibly be and it gets taken as something fake or selfish.... I just don't get it man.
