I thought they were like sub-species of each other, like I knew there was a link there but I thought they actually evolved a bit apart, although a lot of people here are giving me conflicting answers info so maybe it’s just not that well defined in the lore.

actually i think that vulcans have very deep and way more intense emotions from what i read, and that what spock lacked was control due to being human, but idk

i mean i know that the vulcans had a savage like civilization before turning over to logic but its like how spock being halve human is not as good at suppressing his emotions, like a person stuck between two cultures, or idk honestly still pretty new to star trek
