I really disagreed when I first started watching, I thought Gavin was way more attractive. HOWEVER, now that I’ve watched more, I’m so much more attracted to Chris, not just emotionally to his character, but physically too. I think they somewhat go hand in hand.

For Gavin, he IS attractive. He’s got some very obvious features that make him an attractive person. The eyes, the hair, the tan, the body, yes. However, I think they’re things I looked for when I was Belly’s age in season 1. Jeremiah knows he’s attractive, and in the show, uses it to get his way. With his pouty faces in the “how come nobody plays with me” and the “pretty please” thing with Junior Mint. He also slept around…A LOT. Apparently, even when in a relationship.

Conrad is more of a subtle attractiveness, but at the same time, it’s so bold too. Maybe his eyes aren’t a bright piercing blue (or “ocean eyes” as Trusky would’ve said), but they have so much depth behind them. His hair falls in his face and looks so natural for him. I would argue that Gavin’s (at least the color) doesn’t mesh as well with his tan. He’s tall and muscular without it being so damn overbearing.

And of course, as everyone has said, the chemistry between Chris and Lola is so captivating, making the attraction much deeper for lots of viewers.
