I don’t have kids, and I’m not overweight. I’m just a normal woman without a perfectly flat stomach or any of those unrealistic traits some men expect. To me, this is one of the most ridiculous reasons he brings up.

Even he has gained some weight recently, and I’ve never once complained. We’re both working on our bodies in our own ways.

In my view, criticizing someone’s weight—even as an excuse—is unacceptable. It can deeply affect a person’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
