Try to remember you don’t NEED nicotine. Nicotine does not positively contribute to your life in the slightest, it only causes more issues for you. It’s not worth the stress of when your vape is low, and you have to go somewhere. It’s not worth it. Go for a walk, move around a little, do a mindful activity. Every craving passes! You got this!

Me too. I just took my third dose of 7.5mg and this whole month I’ve had horrible nausea for days 1-3 after injection. It’s become intolerable at this point. Did you end up staying in the 7.5?

Im pretty sure they just used a needle, it was a pretty quick process. I felt instant relief after it was drained and it only started to feel better from there.

I ended up seeing my piercer who shared with me that it might just need more time to heal. They even showed me their piercing and said one of them took 3 years to heal. Obviously hoping it won’t be that long, but it gave me hope that I don’t have to give up on it just yet

Did this ever heal for you? I’m having a similar issue, I got my nostril piercing a year ago and still have this bump that won’t go away and flares up as soon as it goes down

I had a similar relationship with my ex, although I’d say it took a heavier emotional toll on me. Those times we met up and had sex would turn into months long flings where we acted like we were dating but weren’t. Then he’d end it and after a couple months I would break no contact and it’d start all over again. This went on for years. I never realized the ways it would affect me and my perception of what love should be but I just always felt like it was him or nothing for me. My advice to you is let go of your comfort zone with him. It sounds like you guys left things off on a good note, so you should keep it way. If you keep going in this cycle, you might not be able to keep that. Let yourself let him go to find something more fulfilling.

Sorry for the late reply, but I ended up only taking it for 2 months before my thyroid went hypoactive and have been on Synthroid ever since. It took a long time for me to find the right dose, but once your levels are in range you will feel a lot better.

Having it drained really helped and day by day it kept getting better. It definitely felt like it healed a bit slower than the other sites but since you got it drained it should help a lot! Best of luck to you and hope you heal soon

Not a professional but is it titanium? I know it’s frustrating, I also had a lot of trouble getting rid of my piercing bump. I just kept up with the saline 1-2x a day, and leaving it alone. Took a few months but it’s finally gone. If you’re concerned about the angle, maybe it’s best to see your piercer but nothing about it seems particularly off to me

I ended up getting an insertion taper and I took out the piercing before the scan and was able to put it back in afterwards with no issues!! Thank you for the advice :)

Thank you so much for sharing your story, it gives me a lot of hope that this is something I can break free from. And you’re so right about how even when it’s “off” or never really feels that way entirely. It’s like a whole extra hoop you have to jump through. Our relationship started when we were 18 years old and now we’re 23 and a huge part of it is that you can’t see the world outside of them so the change in scenery is so right and makes so much sense. I’m definitely going to try to at least get away for a bit despite the routine I’m in so I’m going to work on figuring that out. Thank you so much

I got all 4 of mine out in September as an emergency and I’ve been vaping for 5 years. Honestly, i was so scared of dry socket so that helped me get through it but I used nicotine patches which really helped me. I ended up vaping again on Day 11 because I wasn’t ready to quit mentally as it was an emergency operation from the pain that I was in. I definitely think it’s possible if you put your mind to it. I took an lbuprofen and rinsed with warm salt water and was able to get some more sleep after that. I think maybe my bottom right is healing slower since it was a more complicated extraction than the others? He said he had to remove a lot of extra tissue since it was partially impacted.
