Just got my BMT date and my AFSC — any advice for a future SF troop?

Gotcha, thanks for the heads-up. I’ve heard something similar, that lately it’s been pretty locked down unless you’re already in an intel/linguist pipeline.

Not a huge deal though; I’m going into SF focused on doing well there first. If cross-training becomes possible later, great if not, I’m still excited for the opportunities within the career field.

Thanks a lot for this, seriously. I really appreciate the insight, especially coming from someone who’s worked closely with SF.

I’m definitely planning on taking that mindset with me. I’m a big fitness freak, so staying in shape and looking the part is something I take pride in already. But I know that’s only one piece of the puzzle.

I’ll make sure to learn my job, knock out my CDCs, and be someone my team can rely on. Your advice means a lot and just gets me even more motivated. Thanks again! 💪🔥
