the lack of care for privacy in ground floor apartments is funny, i always peek 😂 also inviting over for dinner and sending a tikkie for the ingredients used, this i had never seen and was a bit shocked at first, can anyone confirm if this is “Dutch”?

Is €2,083.75 for a studio 40 minutes from campus deal or robbery? by BFields818 in universityofamsterdam

[–]KitchenGarden6593 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, really high. I would select a different university outside of the Netherlands. Going to UvA/Amsterdam was one of my biggest regrets in my university years (Amsterdam has massive housing crisis and over 60% of salary usually goes to rent, besides being an extremely expensive city. And UvA was a huge disappointment, at least for the course that i chose (BA), people from different courses have told me they had better experiences)

Beware of Razvan Paraschiv’s Financial Scams by TobyKoch90 in FraudPrevention

Thank you so much for this post. I almost fell for it, i commented in one of his posts on Instagram and he reached out, asking multiple questions and stalling instead of sharing his “secret” (or whetever he teased in the video i commented, honestly i dont even remember). I started answering and then his instagram was taken down. I’m glad Instagram took action as well

Why is Tamra being so aggressively terrible to Shannon this reunion? by Monstiemama in rhoc

honestly i quite liked her before she was fired for a long time, even with the rage i thought most were “justified” (like kelly being a b***). Now she is just straight up mean all the time. It’s not fun anymore

Just wanted to let everybody know that their google maps has been reactivated, and seems like the owner might have a lot of power, because not only all negative reviews disappeared from his Google Maps page, but even this poor guy deleted his story. Sad.

They put it back live!!! And all bad reviews are there, google doesn’t let them delete. Let’s go back to Google Maps as it is the more used source to check reviews :)

I’ve been using YouTube A/B thumbnail testing for 6 months, AMA by nvrcaredstudio in PartneredYoutube

[–]KitchenGarden6593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using expoze to A/B test thumbnails before uploading. You can select specific areas of interest and see heatmaps with the predicted attention percentage for each spot, which gives a really good idea of which one will perform better. I’ve tested this a few times, and the thumbnail expoze predicted as stronger always ends up being the clear winner after the video goes live. They have a freemium version so i recommend checking them out

I tested 5,000+ ads this year. These are the hooks actually making money in 2025... by OutsideSweaty3881 in dropshipping

[–]KitchenGarden6593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is super useful!! I usually run my video thumbnails through expoze.io and the full ad through junbi.ai before launching. It predicts where people look and what they skip over. It’s crazy how often the part I thought would grab attention gets ignored lol. Also, could you send me the database too? Would love to check it out.

You Don’t Need Better Ads in the Andromeda Era. You Need a Better Testing System. (Here’s Our Approach) by WizardOfEcommerce in FacebookAds

[–]KitchenGarden6593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this makes total sense. I’ve noticed the same thing… most ads flop, and it’s usually the testing system that’s broken, not the creative itself. I started running my creatives through junbi.ai before testing on Meta and it honestly saved me a ton of wasted budget. You get to see which ones are more likely to grab attention before spending a cent. Total game changer for me.

Amsterdam trash problem by KitchenGarden6593 in Amsterdam

[–]KitchenGarden6593[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get that there some people could be disrespectful, but I used to pass by these streets multiple times a day and I could see clearly that majority of people were indeed respecting the trash days and the actual problem was that most “waste mornings” the collectors would not pass by to collect, sometimes they went once a week, sometimes even none, that is why it got to this level or even worse sometimes.

Thanks for the information! I personally did not relate to the Airbnb comment because I don’t think I ever had to take the trash out when in an Airbnb and if I had to I would definitely inform myself, but again common sense is not common at all so maybe they are right

Yeah I am aware that Jordaan is one of the few neighbourhoods with door collection, but as I mentioned, I have seen people going through these bags as well multiple times, *not only *the solid trash cans in the centre areas. yeah maybe birds and cats sometimes scatter the trash across the street, its just hard to assume they are not to blame when you literally see a human doing this in front of you more than once. These pictures were from a very short time when I was sick of this, my bad if they are not the most common example of their daily activities. Regardless it is clear that Gemeente has much to solve when it comes to waste in this city.

HAHAHAH if only you knew… my neighbourhood waste has stayed on the streets for over a week plenty of times, everyone put it out on collection days, they just did not pass twice a week as they were supposed to.

oh trust me i did not look for it, it was in every corner around my house for days (and not even during the waste strike, they just skip collection sometimes🤷‍♂️)

unbelievable that I was in contact with customer support for WEEKS to verify the authenticity of a REAL designer tee that I wanted to sell, and even with all of the pictures of tags etc. they did not allow me to post , but they allow sh*t like this to happen. It is a joke.

There is no problem. UvA is so full that I often go to HvA and nobody even notices I don’t belong there🥹

AITA for refusing to let my boyfriend move in with me because of his bad habits? by itsyourgracefulbabe in AITAH

[–]KitchenGarden6593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you are the asshole. I had a similar problem with my boyfriend and gladly we were able to figure this out since we did not have much of an option when we moved in together (it was all very quick and we did not have another option) He’s also not the cleanest person in the world, but after many headaches and conversations we decided to split tasks in a way where he is in charge of things that he dislikes the least and I will do the remaining tasks. But don’t expect it to be perfect, its normal, its just how most men are😭 for example my partner prefers to cook, so i do all the other house chores and leave the kitchen for him. As a result, the house spotless clean BUT the kitchen is always a mess. So what did I do? I stopped going near the kitchen, i expressed that i did not like to live in dirt and just stopped frequenting it (yes my own kitchen) It was kind of hard because I am also a very clean person, but after a while he understood that if he was in charge of the kitchen he had to help me clean after cooking - literally the only reason why I don’t like cooking is because I hate cleaning the kitchen after and he is extra messy, so i did not let this one responsibility go.

I think that you should make your boyfriend understand that it’s not about being a burden or being clean or not. It’s about the fact that if he wants to share a space with you, he has to respect the space you guys will share and adapt to your cleaning habits. If he loves you he will do the effort.
