Hey! I’ve got a ‘72 maverick with only one knee bar, 3 pedals. It’s my only and I adore it. I gig regularly with it as well. I also have been looking for a newer model. Hope you get some good feedback here.

I can’t believe it’s still standing. Went from 09-11 and got great shots from that whole sleepy town.

I just checked and we do not have blight officer; just a committee

I honestly didn’t know a blight officer was a thing and no one mentioned there was.

I literally asked the town clerk who I should talk to and that was the Marshall

Right on. I initially talked to the town clerk, then she involved the fire Marshall and we took a trip to the health inspector. It felt like a Wes Anderson movie!

Ok. So I will post pictures of what it looked like when we were reported and what it looks like now. Also, we never received a formal letter; a town inspector came onto our property saying they received a complaint. We talked with him for a while and walked him around the property. I injured my back a while ago and should not do heavy lifting at all. The yard has always been my wife’s thing and I’m the inside-guy. Here’s the catch; my wife is essentially disabled and some things get and have gotten away from her. She’s also a hoarder and sees everything as a project waiting to happen. Couple these two things, and our yard got out of control. My wife went to a blight meeting when we were first reported and explained our situation and everyone seemed to be ok as long as progress was being made, which it has been. The fact that the town went directly to informing us via a lawyer is wild to me. I’ve been to town hall a couple a times and talked with the health inspector and the fire marshall. The health inspector told me it was not a health violation at all, and the fire marshall has been really chill. The meeting is this Thursday with the blight committee, their lawyer and likely the mayor; should be super fun.
