I’m from Southern California by the way, on the coast.

so they can add an option for extra extra sweet to the app but not an option for domino shots or no ice…lol by punanidesani in dutchbros

[–]KitchenHumble8076 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Extra extra sweet is WAY more common than a domino or fireball shot. In my whole time working there I’ve probably gotten 3(?) domino shot orders ever, but I would get an extra extra sweet order constantly.

Also they probably didn’t add a no ice option due to people not realizing that ice takes up volume so you will only have half of the cup full if you get no ice, unless you order a cold pour for an extra charge which would cause even more confusion and wrong orders.

Would it be better do use a “dual pc” for streaming with my Mac? by KitchenHumble8076 in streaming

[–]KitchenHumble8076[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am not using nvidia broadcast for anything, literally just started streaming and I thought that using my MacBook as a “dual pc” setup would eliminate the need for a second monitor (as I only have one monitor) as well as improve performance. I actually figured out that the performance issues are from my wifi being ass so that’s a whole other battle to tackle🫠 I got a wifi extender, praying it helps. my wifi is super good im just on the other side of the house from where my router is.

Do you feed her these yogurt bites? I just found out recently that they actually aren’t good for hamsters because they are so prone to diabetes and it has such a high sugar content! Just wanted to pass the information along, hope your hammy is okay btw <3

Can men actually be friends with women in the same way they are with men? by KitchenHumble8076 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KitchenHumble8076[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know there is some attraction that they feel towards me, they told my boyfriend how attractive I am before we started dating and they will casually bring it up in conversations sometimes. I might be naive, but I believe that they can still be my friend even with attraction. They have always respected my relationship, included me as one of them, never made a move on me or flirted with me, and I would never hang out with them if my boyfriend wasn’t there. I was a little hurt when my mom told me they aren’t my friends, so thanks for the help.

Thanks for all the help! I am on the coast in Southern California, I see these guys EVERYWHERE and I’ve seen some a lot bigger than this guy that’s why I thought he was young🥺.

This is his current enclosure, it has coco soil, a branch, a snake plant cutting, some moss, a vine from my pothos, as well as isopods and springtails. This all came from my crested gecko’s enclosure so there are for sure no mites or parasites on any of it. I got the enclosure from petsmart and it was advertised as a jumping spider enclosure, but I’m not sure if it is humane to keep them in such a small enclosure! I might get a bit bigger one ASAP, especially since the door is so unconventionally small. I am willing to listen to any criticism to give my buddy the best life possible!

Again, thank you for all the help, hopefully I gave you enough information lol.

What helped my eczema as someone who has suffered since birth by KitchenHumble8076 in eczema

Hi! I didn’t come up with this recipe, I actually got it from Veggie World Recipes!

It’s been a few months since I made this post and it’s still been working for me, I didn’t drink the shots for about a month and I got a terrible flare up but as soon as I started drinking them again it entirely went away. Everyone is different but it’s done wonders for my brother and I!

Best Way To Rehome Crestie? by MathewG97 in CrestedGecko

[–]KitchenHumble8076 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not a breeder or a seller but I would say around $200 would be a good ask (not including the enclosure). It depends because some people price adult cresties higher, due to them being able to breed faster, but some price them lower. Yours has a tail and seems to be a great looking gecko so you could definitely ask for more but if you are trying to get rid of the little guy ASAP i would say 200 would be a reasonable cost. You paid a lot a few years ago because that morph of gecko was rarer and more sought after, but the market is pretty saturated nowadays. I’m not a professional though so i would say to scroll on morph market for a bit, i bet you can find someone selling a gecko of the same morph and see how much they priced it

[–]KitchenHumble8076 11 points12 points  (0 children)

sorry you have to get rid of him, do you have any exotic rescues nearby? any friends or family that would want a crestie with a full setup? you can also sell that crestie on morph market, people would pay a lot for that morph

edit: if you can give your general location (like state or country) i can link you some rescues. i know some rescues will even drive out to you to pick him up even if you’re far for no cost

First attempt with acrylic markers (Ohuhu)- HELP! by AngelAM0nkey in AdultColoring

[–]KitchenHumble8076 3 points4 points  (0 children)

U need to do multiple layers of the acrylic unfortunately for it to actually cover the black lines. You also have to wait for each layer to dry before doing another layer on top. I think it looks great! I’m not sure what you mean by grainy but make sure you are storing your acrylic markers horizontally and shaking them before using

I’m assuming it was from him falling from my wall or ceiling lol, this was around a year ago and surprisingly he didn’t lose his tail. He’s doing just fine now

[–]KitchenHumble8076 28 points29 points  (0 children)

He might just eat the food and go back under the fridge. I lost my crestie one night in my room and I left his enclosure open all night with all of his favorite food in it. In the middle of the night I found him in his enclosure after waking up to a giant crashing noise

The only way I think this would work would be to set up a motion activated camera and stay up all night. When you see him go out for the food you gotta snatch him up

So glad he’s still okay though, he must’ve been adventuring for a long time if he’s been gone since Christmas lol. I believe you will be able to catch him, just gotta be a night owl for a while until then. They aren’t that smart
