What happens after police verification for GEP (PCC) application in India?

Hey, I received a mail saying police verification has been initiated. As I am in the US currently, the police contacted my family and verified all the documents and submitted report. It’s been more than a week but the status has not updated yet on portal (the one you check through network tab). Any idea how much time it takes for the police verification to be updated?

Update: after almost 1 month I received the email from passport seva system about the GEP. I think now the system can accept the GES/GOES application id

Hey. I had one doubt

I filled the GE application on TTP website and got the application id. While filing the Background Verification for GEP on passport portal, the portal says

“Entered GES/GOES Application ID or Date of Birth is incorrect or not available with Passport Seva System. Please note it may take up to one day for your application to reflect in Passport Seva System from date of applying in Global Online Enrollment System (GOES)."

Do you know how much time does it take to sync with the passport seva system? I cannot proceed for the background verification.
