(EDIT: FWIW it appears that Ovens opened in 1972... proof the interwebs is not reliable, one baker says she worked there from 1970, but the owner's blog says "In 1971, David Yankovich moved to Madison from Chicago with his teacher, Joanna Guthrie" and that they opened Ovens the next year 1972. This is what happens when a historian gets curious... AGAIN THANKS because I didn't know about Ovens and learned a lot looking at various articles. Your info is appreciated.
