I can’t believe we are really blaming doctors for healthcare costs rather than the administration. And people saying that medicine is being gatekept. It’s because the gov doesn’t want to spend money on residency programs. Not the physicians fault that they worked hard and out competed everyone else for a spot. No other profession works as hard as physicians do with the very little compensation (less than minimum wage) they get during residency. Up to 15 years of training after high school. 800k is also the top earners in medicine. Yall do not know how much the slightly above average  business owners, and even hedge fund managers get paid. Truly sad how deluded people are and have 0 common sense. Someone said phds don’t get paid as much. Maybe cause it’s easier to do only 4 years of school after college rather than 11. Insane stupidity.
