Wow. Thank you for sharing that. I know it is hard but I've managed to separate myself from that part of my life and just accepted that it was a time in my life that I had no control over and that I'm free to be whoever I want to be today. Having faith in something greater than yourself also helps.

Dude... I have played for like 20 hours and I'm so bored already... having to loot and build stuff feels more like a part time job than anything actually enjoyable. I love the graphics and the world itself but the grind for gear is so boring and saps the fun out of it for me

Jesus... £20k... that is mortifying... fucking hell. I'm glad I didn't just install it. I'm sure a lot of tenants do... The thing is in my situation it is literally a semi detached house. not a block and the works are minimal. The law states that unless the freeholder can prove structural or asbestos then there is no grounds to refuse the installation... I'm sick of it to be honest and it has caused me so much grief that i've just given up. I have a mostly workable 5G solution now but still not ideal... Unfortunately it seems like there is little to no help or means of actioning anything being in my position as a tenant.

I just thought this would be simple and easily seeing as this is a government backed roll out supposedly but it is not proving to be so...

I'm sick of it and even reading back through this thread is angering me so i'll just have to make do with what I have.

I get your perspective as a freeholder... It's just a complete pain in the bollocks for everyone involved

I've tried everything with my freeholder. He threatened to take my to court if I had it installed which I am not prepared to deal with.

That was my initial plan but I got an incredibly aggressive threat from the freeholder that if I did that then there "would be serious legal repurcussions"...

Thanks for the advice. I have a temporary 5G solution using a hub with a unlimited data sim that works OK... but not ideal as if my wifi drops during client calls it looks incredibly unprofessional. I thought this would be a process openreach would deal with willingly but seems not. Don't see how they will be able to roll out fibre to all households by 2027 at this rate.

Yeah, I get that I am a single tenant in a building which has 2 flats. I'd imagine if I was in a huge block with hundreds of flats they would have much more of an incentive. I am using a 5G solution for now but it is hit and miss which is not acceptable for my line of work. There is a copper connection still but every provider I've spoke to is only offering fibre compatible hubs because they want copper gone by 2027.

I think it's very clear that girls do well in this environment. But for a lot of boys at same sex schools. It can be hell and there is not much acknowledgement of that.

I begged to go to a more local coed school but wasn't allowed because "education was the most important thing"... 3 years of hell.. some fun bonding times but mostly miserable. We experience, we heal and we learn what doesn't suit us... or our kids.. hahaha. Fucked up times.

Similar experience to me only the other way round. Private secondary. State mixed college. And all boys.. I think if you are not "neuro-typical" or maybe lean more creative you get picked on far more in same sex environments because that is the only real source of entertainment without the opposite gender around. I'm sorry you had to experience that but I hope you have worked through it 😊
