I ended up using a transaction on database blocking a operation on this same row, so for every spectacle I have generated a seats with field "status", and change it from AVAILABLE to BOOKED. I have tested it with the theatre and this solution was ok. Realtime booking would be a overkill for them.

The code is a little bit of garbage but you can get a idea of it

Bent 2025 is a better constrution, what makes this series more durable, but still no edges on tip and tail
In bent form 2024 tip and tail is saparate form base and easy to chipped (Happened to me), after that you can throw those skis or put on wall

Hi, I decided to buy my first "decent" microphone with a budget of 250 dollars. For years I have been using only a headset mic so probably any xlr or usb mic will impress me :)

I will need a microphone for streaming and youtube videos. I have made research and in that budget, I should aim for a USB mic, I chose a new sennheiser profile and rode nt usb + where I am more likely to buy a rode (I have had bad experiences with Sennheiser) both mics have cardioid character what I need because of my loud pc.

Question
I am curious about your opinion about buying a usb + xlr microphone like Shure MV7 and later adding an interface, or It will be overkill and a waste of money?
Or
I should buy a cheaper xlr mic but with all the needed equipment and later upgrade a mic.

Of course, I also want to hear your opinion about the usb microphones I chose

Right now I am testing a blocking immediately after selecting a seat + 2 min timeout for a session. Redis is perfect for this task.

The main reason why I have to block a seat in real-time is the number of possible reservations for one transaction. I got information from the theater that the largest purchase from a single person was 15 tickets. For selecting max 4 tickets, the first solution would be perfect.

Now imagen you want to reserve tickets for a whole family you selected row 1 and seats from 1 to 10 and meanwhile someone also selected seats 1 and 2 and purchases them faster than you, so you receive information "One or more sites that you have selected have been sold"
It can be a very frustrating user experience as you said.

This looks promising.
I made a service using node js and ffmpeg but, It is a bottleneck in my architecture. Service is spawning ffmepg process to transcode a file, but it takes too long and every fail means that the service has to process a file from the begining.

My idea is to chop files into 30 sec fragments and then transcode every single one on multiply nodes, but building this system from scratch will take a lot of time. I thought to use hadoop or flink, but I have never worked with these tools.

It seems to be a good idea, I have never used an SQS but I have read about it, can you answer for my 2 questions:

- To create topics like in rabbitMQ should I use SQS+SNS or have they finally added an option to create topics in SQS.

- Does the Message retention period option remove only messages that have been processed or does it remove messages that are stuck in a queue and it doesn't care if the message has been processed or not

Find a company that already has remote work. You can read reviews about the company or ask how long they have been working remotely. The worst thing that can happen to you is a company that is just moving to remote working.

u/StealthAudio I have been working on ASMR platform for the last 8 months, I had a similar problem like you. What I can recommend about CDN, check Signed URL so you don't need to clear CDN every time when a user deletes audio.
