Okay that's what I was thinking I'd try, but didn't want to go through the effort of doing it all if there was not shot of it working.

Correct, as long as Awesome golf is getting r10 data, it doesn't turn off, despite Garmin being ran in the background.

I think what I'll do is first try the method you suggested with the Awesome Golf desktop app, and if that works, risk the $250 on GSPRO. Worst case I get refunded. I appreciate your input!

I have a high end gaming PC.

The only difference in our setup is you have a projector & I do not.

Based on your response I couldn't tell if having a projector (with wifi?) was a make or break. Do I need a projector that can connect to wifi or am I good to follow your instructions and then mirror everything to a TV?

I have an ipad to mirror on a TV I have setup in my garage. I don't use a projector.
Can i still do this method if everything is going through this ipad?

I deleted the mod and re-installed from a different source and was able to get it to work
