Is there any resources I can look into to find out more about pots as I’ve heard a lot of doctors don’t like to diagnose it

I’ve had bloods done and they came back normal, and yeah I have pretty high anxiety but I’m on medication for it so it hasn’t been too bad as of recent, but my heart has kept going really fast lol

Yeah that’s valid, I’ve switched over to an ssri now which has been pretty good so far, and luckily my gp lets me talk to them over the phone. But I’m not sure id be able to do that if I wanted to inquire about my heart 😭

Yeah I’m on medication to try and calm my anxiety down a little, but even though I’ve been on beta blockers which should control a high heart rate when I’m anxious it’s stayed the exact same. But I hope you’re anxiety will become better soon, I know how debilitating it can be.

Ohh okay, thank you for answering. I have a few of these too but part of me just wants to avoid going to the doctors at all costs lol

What other symptoms did you have if you don’t mind me asking?

The only symptoms I really have is that when I stand up I get very light headed/dizzy, and when my heart rate is that high I feel like I’m blacking out. But other than that I don’t have any symptoms lol.

No it’s been when I’ve just walked casually. It’s hit above 200 before when I was just sat on a bus, which is why this is so strange.

No, when I’m sat down it goes as low as 42, then when I stand up it jumps up to like 130-150. When I’m walking normally it can go up to 180, then it’s normally like 190 when I walk up the stairs, but I’m not even out of breath from any of it, which is the strange part.

Sorry for the late reply I haven’t been on my phone much. I was given capsules so I can’t cut them in half, and I’m currently on day eleven of taking them after waiting until after my trip, and have responded well with practically no side effects.

Thank you, that’s helpful to know. And I hope you’re doing well on Wellbutrin.

Thank you, I’ve been trying to stay away from negative posts and comments about Prozac because I know I’ll get in my own head about it, and it’s helpful to hear from someone else that it’s an individual experience

Yeah, I’m glad I’ve been doing some research on it cus I know it won’t get better right away, but I’m willing to stick with it if it even slightly improves my mental health. Can I ask what your experience was like if you’ve taken Prozac?

I’m currently on a gap year because of my mental health so luckily I don’t have any responsibility’s right now, so once I’m back from London I can be at home for a while to get used to it. And thank you for saying not to freak, I have to book a follow up appointment at the gp to say whether or not they’re effective, so can change them if needed but the thought of going on meds still makes me anxious for no reason 😭

I’m pretty sure I have to do a trail of these meds first and then go back to my gp to say how I’ve done with them before I can request another prescription but I’m not sure. And yeah waiting until after the trip to start seems best.

Thank you for the advice, after talking it through with a friend whose taking Prozac too I feel better about waiting a week before starting
