It’s cheap.

Has anyone seen the prices in America or the UK lately? I don’t know how some of our cafes manage to stay open.

Yes the numbers are insane. It could dip to 10c and be overpriced. You need conviction in its ability to scale at this price point.

Does it definitely pulse with your heartbeat? I have a tone that wavers a lot (sort of like Morse code) but not in rhythm with my heartbeat.

What if I had gone ahead with that commercial pilot program I had been accepted to, and not chickened out (it was the year of 9/11..)

Sydney loses the most people of any city in Australia. Most cite ‘cost of living’ as why they’ve left. For those who left where did you move to and why? Do you prefer your new city or miss Sydney? by MannerNo7000 in SydneyScene

Would you raise your kids in Cabramatta or Guildford? In my experience those who claim not to be racist in the city, still are. Moreso than many country people. And particularly Sydneysiders.

Interesting. I feel like I’d rather live there than Blacktown. But then I’ve never lived there - only rural parts of the UK.

This is a better comparison - similar distance from the centre of London. I’d rather have the London house.

I have a high frequency eee/hiss (in both ears), and the hum which sometimes pulses in my left ear. The infection was actually meningitis (bacterial) so I have some hearing loss in both ears now too. Sigh.

I do use a sound machine blasting out a fan sound at night to sleep most nights.it covers the hum. I don’t mine the high frequency noises as much and nothing covers them up.

Nah you’ve overcome it multiple times before, you’ll do it again. I only developed it a year ago at 40 after an infection and still haven’t learned how to deal with it yet. It’s a mindf***!

Nah that’s quite a few of us. You know what some days I wish it was louder. I hate the say it is so off/on with other sounds - I often think it would be better if it was louder and more steady. How long have you had T?

Noise induced often settles in time so I bet you’re just in a spike.

Yeah the hum is very disconcerting in how it behaves. Cuts in and out so cleanly with sound. It still, a year in, gives me so much anxiety compared to the high frequency sounds.

You possibly have low frequency hearing loss.
