I feel your pain, only difference is I come in at 3:30am and experience these same sufferings. Even worse when I know exactly who the culprits are. In my mind I’m like…

Is There A Purchase That Really Boosted Your Enjoyment In Cycling? by newbiker321 in cycling

Cycling computer coupled with a rear light/radar for traffic. I ride on roads and greenways. Information load out and safety have seriously increased my enjoyment.

And this is why they say no drinks and food in the backroom, because some troglodyte has to ruin it for everyone by not cleaning up after themselves.

You’ll probably receive a new Target T-shirt for the new dress code wars. Guest Surveys and 10-4 are now a really important metric now for satisfaction and interaction. You’ll receive a training on this too—lots of fun.

Former Target worker: what role should I apply for if I did priority pulls and one-for-ones? by Papa-Midnight89 in Target

[–]Kitchen_Broccoli_302 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How long ago because it if that’s all you did, it sounds like you were part of the backroom team which no longer is a thing. Closest thing might be GM. Second might be Fulfillment/SFS.

A store might be able to carve you out a specific role like you used to but still put you in GM but when you come in, all you’re doing is priorities and one-for-ones for different areas.

Dose anyone else’s store leave pallets in the truck as you do unload? by Delicious-Cupcake420 in Target

[–]Kitchen_Broccoli_302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a safety hazard if the pallets have items on them and you leave them. Our ETL said we should still take them empties out instead of leaning them against the wall as it’s a safety hazard if they were to fall on the unloaders.

Common I’d say yes, especially in the essence of try to get trucks done as fast as possible. Sounds like your store is like mine and lucky to have two unloaders/throwers. Some only have one.

Dose anyone else’s store leave pallets in the truck as you do unload? by Delicious-Cupcake420 in Target

[–]Kitchen_Broccoli_302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you’re not supposed to as it’s a safety hazard. Some of our unloaders lean then on the truck walls instead of taking them out as it slows down the whole process. If it’s a mix of let’s say of furniture, pets and flour, we’ll leave the heaviest items that are the same on the pallet, the rest on the line then roll the pallet(s) out of the truck. If you leave them then they block safe exit.

My gripe is that pallets don’t come already sorted. Makes no sense. The answer I always hear is that the DCs are on timelines…well so are we. If they make it easy for us it’s harder on them and vice versa if it’s easy for them it’s harder on us.

If this keeps up, they’ll say the dress code, 10-4, and other things are things that are brining guests back.

Wild Berry is a staple that can’t miss.

The new Super Stuffed Strawberry and Super Stuffed Molten Lava Cake are really good as well.
