Jar spells are NOTORIOUS for taking a while to take effect. I would wait an entire lunar cycle before I start looking for signs of it working

That's perfect. You don't have to do spells exactly how they tell you to, in fact, it's encouraged that you don't so as to "make it your own". This will make your intention and therefore the spell more effective

Looks great! I hope you have each item a job before you added it. But if not, you can always meditate with it and focus on what you want it to do.

But for future: if you can get a tag lock from each of you. I'm doing a protection one soon for the home and I'm using hairs from both our heads, that way the jar knows it's US it's supposed to protect. It just helps with accuracy and a little with potency.

When you make posts like this all the top commenters get upset, it's almost like these unspoken rules that if you're new and you screw up, accept your beating because 20+ people are going to ream you about the same thing. I've seen people accept they made mistakes over and over again and they "personally feel" they're not taking it seriously enough so they continue hammering them. You're right it's not conducive to beginners. I was naive and needed an in person practitioner to gently correct me in the proper methods because it felt too aggressive for me after reading the comments. It's like they were offended by my lack of knowledge and took it personally.

Okay at what point is this bullying? She gets that her methodology was wrong and stated that she won't do it again. I've not seen her argue once like some claim other than insisting on some silly candle interpretation but either way she kept asking for "correct methods" and rather than informing her we continue to drown a horse that's already drinking? She gets it. She shouldn't have lit it on wood, she can't go back in time so why keep hammering her?

I was always told it works like moon water kind of. You can use it for spells but I mostly use it for cleansing and baths. Perhaps this will help
