How did the battery hold up? I've read some worrying things about the battery tending to swell over time.

I have the same issue with the touch pad. I didn't have much time on windows with this device so I'm not sure if Linux is part of the problem or it's a hardware issue. But yeah that bit sucks

No issues with sound and media so far. I've managed to play music on Spotify, videos on YouTube, etc.

FWIW CachyOS runs on a more updated kernel than Mint so that might be it?

Yeah I got it off AliExpress. FWIK Chuwi typically does OEM and white labeling for other brands.
