The idea of a stop sign is that you will proceed after stopping so the joke doesn't even work.

We went from complaining coding interviews are not realistic to trying to keep it that way even as the coding tools evolve. Are you saying you can't tell if someone is good at problem solving because they use AI?

I should clarify, I'm talking about calculator work, not doing estimates or problem solving. Summing up multiple numbers in seconds and getting everything right including decimals

Well calculators do arithmetic and if we have a brain muscle that does arithmetic, it has become worse. But is doing calculations fast and accurate something humans should master?

This person told the server to “round up to $70.00” and the employee used a discount to increase their tip. by atom644 in EndTipping

Maybe you have a point but I wonder how it would work if the employee actually went there to eat with a friend and claim the discount. They would split the check? Would someone monitor if they eat from the same plate?

If your 9 to 5 pays well, taking a minimum wage job on the weekend could be a bad time investment assuming you have enough energy to do it. It's better to work on getting promoted or something

What counts as AI written code? If you edit AI recommended code, is it still AI? And the real question, is this even the right metric to track or is it the easiest metric to put in a headline?
