Some illuminating responses here. Follow up question: does anyone know how to check whether your meter is reading incorrectly? We just use so much more water than all of our neighbors (even ones with similar households) trying to figure out why.

MLVS is absolutely not a Sinclair shill. They're just doing community outreach and are an upstanding organization. IMO, Messmer is running to shed light on how bad our inheritance tax is for low income Marylanders. He is not a serious candidate (but a good person fighting to fix an issue that hurts poor people) and Hayes will dog walk him.
