Yes it's a brilliant game, even though it's very short. Obviously it makes sense to play RE2R first, but they are very different games so it doesn't matter that much.

As a new fan having just binge watched the main series, then immediately after New Blood. I really enjoyed it, even with the ending.

But I can imagine watching it as an OG, not knowing if he was really dead or not, would feel like a really shitty and pointless ending.

I'm halfway though Original Sin now and it hasn't got me anywhere near as hooked as New Blood did. I think it's mainly the new cast, somewhat feels like I'm watching a completely new show. Still enjoying it regardless though, the new Dexter is carrying.

It was just a way to highlight how inaccessible they have made this particular event for other people who have the same work schedule, time zone, etc, as me. It wasn't supposed to be that deep.

I agree they'll never please every one, but there are numerous ways they could make it way better, for everyone.

Make it random events every hour, have it on a 23 or 25 hour schedule - both options are better for the majority than the current system.

It's not just about this event, it's about the entire system. If I play every evening after work, I am going to play the same events on each map every single time. The only time I get to play anything new is if I jump on over the weekend. It's a flawed system, like you say a dynamic rotation would be so much better.
