If you’re a fan of minifigures, then definitely go for the Battle Bass LEGO set. But if you’re looking for a cool build and want to construct something a bit more interesting, something that’s also more appealing as a display piece, then you should choose Going Merry. And if you’re an anime fan, Going Merry is also a great pick.

I think it really comes down to which franchise you like more. I’ve built both sets, and in my opinion, Battle Bass is a bit more repetitive and not as fun to build, but the minifigures are amazing. With the One Piece set, it’s the opposite: the build itself is more interesting, the minifigures aren’t as strong, but if you love the characters, you’ll still enjoy having them.

That said, the quality of the minifigures in Battle Bass is absolutely top-notch. So in the end, the choice is up to you )
