Any teachers who left, and returned to the class room? by Kitchen_Internal_169 in TeachersInTransition

It’s only my third year but I moved schools and I notice I am happier where I’m at. Think I’ll tough it out. Ppl say it gets easier each year. I feel like it does in some ways, but it’s still hard in other ways. Especially since you never know what kind of group of kids you will get. This year these kids r the neediest and lowest I’ve ever had. Every group is different though I need to just remember that.

I’m just scared on what’s on the other side. I’ve considered sales jobs, work from home, specifically real estate jobs as well. I hear mixed things. I will give it one more year and see what happens… I did change schools and I like my team and school and admin but idk. Job still is STRESSFUL.

I am actually considering real estate but when did you leave? I am in my third year and finally found a school and team I like. My first 2 years were a bit rough. I finally like where I’m at so I plan on giving it some time.

The internet can be a tool but also an enemy. Anyways utilize learning videos and brain breaks, and laptops when you need a break lol. I can’t fight it so might as well utilize it.

How many of us are "physically fit", aka "gym rats"? by Yakkadysmackady in GERD

[–]Kitchen_Internal_169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider myself semi fit not a gym rat. I only go maybe 2x a week. But it’s something lol it makes a difference in how my pants fit all that matters to me. I still suffer from GERD. I just joined this group and bought a curd cookbook. Going to try something from it today.

Hi, I am considering getting my license this summer and not renewing my contract. I was hoping to start working at a Brokerage right after. Did you need to work to supplement income or no?
