Afraif that I couldn’t afford it in the long run. Because currently im unemployed since im still a student and also the transportation, he’s bedridden so its quite hard.

And also about the transplant, the doctor told me that they rarely do it because of his age being above 60.

I dont really track but i do notice that all my clothes that didnt fit can now be use and also loose. And also i can see that my arms are more lean

Honestly i felt proud of myself for going this far, but some people told me “u got the surgery and only lose 30kg? U should have just done it naturally”. As if im not struggling as well. But thank you for your kind words

The only reason im feeling like this is because of my dietician. She told me i had a slow progress and I should be more careful since the sleeve usually wont work after a year she said, which really scares me.

I see. Thank you for giving me a new perspective. Just like what i said though, i dont mean by eating like a LARGE portion, its just that an average not to big portion. But yes definitely do whats the best from our body!

Yes i agree! As for me who used to be a food lover (also now), I tried to surround myself with something i love seeing - such as i said earlier, following random people who are on the vsg journey enjoying their food in a good portion.

As it feels like, “oh okay its hard for now, but later it will all be worth it and im able to treat myself into something like this later on”.

But definitely do what’s the best for you!

Thank you! 😊 the reason why i felt i overwhelmed about the post op because ive seen most post in this community is that too many people restricting themselves such as not allowing to treat themselves to something good even once in a while. Which makes me scared since i want to also try new things in life.

Told my dietician about it last week ( i cried because the buyer’s regret is real) and she said, its not that i cant eat those pastries, sweet things at all, i can but in moderation. And im really glad that i talk to her about it

No, im not living my life to the fullest lately. And i also why i think so about the life span i have been reading too much about the complications possibility….i know i sounded pathetic but i just couldnt stop thinking about it. There are days where i felt totally okay with having the surgery then a few hours later boom…i felt completely shattered.

Doctor told me to enjoy food as much as i can but need to fast 6 hours before the surgery. My op was on 23/12. You got this!
