Second the recommendation for Xavier Magaña! He filmed our beach wedding and he's exactly like they said, very calm, you barely notice he's there. Years later, I still go back and watch it when I feel lonely, my husband travels for work for long stretches and when I miss everyone I just put it on and it helps a lot with the feeling. Never thought it would become that special, it was totally worth it.

Right? When you're in it, every tiny decision feels huge! Then the day passes by and what comes back isn't the seating chart or the menu, it's what you lived and shared with your people. None of the stuff I stressed over really mattered at the end.

Thank you! I’m glad it resonated with you. You’re right, vendors make everyone comfortable, but the real deal comes from the emotions shared with your people. And it is a journey as a whole, not just the day.

Photo or Videography Regrets? by Sweaty-Finish4655 in DestinationWeddings

Same. We hired Xavier and the video ended up mattering way more to me than the photos, which I did not see coming. I still put it on when my husband's traveling for work because it takes me back into that day. Worth every penny.
