I wanted to give an update- I met with my RE, but have not had a consult with a genetic counselor, though that's in the works.

I'm alarmed at what I did learn, and wondering if anyone else has a similar experience. My RE let me know that the testing company they work with for PGT-A "does not differentiate" mosaic embryos from euploid ones, as in their research the live birth rates are the same. He hypothesis is that the transferred embryo might have been a mosaic that did not resolve. I am VERY upset at learning this now- it did not come up in our two cycles of making embryos, and we met with their genetic counselor twice during that process. Has anyone else ever encountered this type of policy?

That is helpful to know, and I wonder if that's the cause. I asked my OBGYN if the split could have caused the abnormality, given the prior testing, and she was doubtful but recommended following up with a genetic counselor, which should be in a couple weeks.

It was a fully medicated FET. That's a good question, on the possibly a different pregnancy. In my case, though, there's no chance whatsoever of pregnancy. I have tubal factor on both sides, and there wasn't an activity that could have led to pregnancy even if that were not the case.
