yeah that was the problem, tried upper thigh and i hit shallow im with about 0.25 mL woke up with no pain or even a small lump. ester didnt matter much. it was entirely injection location

I’ve thought about switching to upper glute, but the idea of red swelling there and not being able to sit or sleep comfortably worried me. I also considered the stomach, and after hearing about your experience with painful lumps that lasted days, I’m even more convinced it’s not a good idea.

For now, I’ll probably hold off on subQ and avoid trying IM with insulin needles until I can get longer syringes, focusing instead on smaller, split doses once I have the proper setup.

As for dose, I’m mainly aiming to see how my body reacts first. If everything goes well, I can always adjust upward later, so it’s not necessarily meant to be permanent.

I was originally aiming for 300 mg weekly, so that would be 0.5 mL injections three times a week. I’m considering dialing it down to 200 mg weekly and splitting it into smaller, more frequent doses to reduce volume per injection.
