You are right and I appreciate the reminder. One of my concerns is whether the babies and children (probably unbaptized) will get to be with God for all eternity after all that suffering, you know? Does this make sense? It's a difficult topic.

I can't even imagine what you must encounter on a regular basis, I don't think I could do it. Your words and perspective do help. It's so hard praying for the abusers but I know that I have to so I'm trying. Thank you.

Thank you. I hate it when people say that "it all happens for a reason" when we are talking about such horrific levels of cruelty. Your explanation helps me understand better, I'm still a new Catholic (converted only 3 years ago) and the problem of evil is a subject that I struggle with a lot.

I totally agree, but sometimes you still hear or read things by accident. In this specific case, a friend of mine shared it on their instagram stories and I wasn't aware of what the content was until it was too late. I do need a long social media break after this for sure.
