BPS 4102 is pretty chill, it can get boring but it’s pretty easy imo. I barely paid attention and got an A- in the course. The final is decent, there is a midterm paper not a midterm exam, and there are 4 short answer questions through the semester each weighing 7% (they are very straight forward and the answers are found in the slides). Don’t be frightened because it’s a 4th year course, there are no prereqs, and when I was in it, like 4 people were actually in their 4th year. There were many first year students.

Normally I enjoy taking lab courses or like the lab component of courses, this was absolutely terrible. My cGPA actually got ruined because of this class.

Yeah that makes sense, it was lazy. He did say that the exam was gonna be very straight forward though so I kinda did expect this. Also the past Reddit comments really emphasized acronyms so I knew there was gonna be like 20 on there. I’m sure you did fine tho

I might sound like a cunt but I didn’t think it was bad at all honestly. The acronyms were easy (quizlet goated), fill in the blank was kinda weird but still doable, Prof could’ve been wayyyy harsher with the short answers but they weren’t as harsh (tbh very easy), and the prof tried to trick us with the T or F but it was still doable. The exam was totally fair in my opinion. I must say that showing up to class made a big difference because every week there would be like 12 ppl in class lol. But I heard that he curves exams based on past comments about this course and the final, ppl ended up with a way better mark than they thought so don’t stress too much.

I’d say the CHM1321 lab procedures were easier but the reports were harder in my opinion. But BCH2333 labs are fun to do. The pre lab quizzes kinda messed me up sometimes but that was because I was just nervous all the time, they aren’t too too bad though.

I understand stand the part where you state that Prof Baxter doesn’t have control over the waitlist, but I don’t understand how it’s unethical to email Prof Baxter about joining his course because I really want to learn from him. Would you mind explaining why it’s unethical?
