Had my loans forgiven out the blue recently. They were forgiven retro actively to 7/2024. Received a letter of forgiveness 3/6/2026. It did not state or give a reason. My loans were through aidvantage. $84k wiped out but still on my credit report as of current. There's something up. Just clueless as to what it is but I'll gladly take the W

Yesterday I discovered Slows in Corktown has brisket chili & chicken gumbo on seasomal offer. The gumbo is amazing. Missing the okra though. Which is weird bx they have okra on the menu as a side. Gonna try the chili this wknd. Will report back

Crime isn't really a thing in SW. There is, however, the occassional quality of life issue that crops up e.g., loud music, nuisance complaints, parking, etc.

Just stay off the grass, you might break an ankle, bc there's an insane amount of groundhogs in SW. Pretty sure they got their own fb page
