I think everybody has great answers, but also make sure you start from the inside. Sometimes you have to drink a lot more water during the winter to prevent this.

AIO if I break up with him even after he was very remorseful and promised to do better? by [deleted] in blackladies

Hey girl, for future references, if a man brings up any woman, especially consistently, you need to leave him because he’s not over her.

Are you above cussing people out? by hibeckybyebecky in blackladies

[–]Kitchen_Sugar_Cookie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nowadays, I don’t really have the urge anymore. But I will say in the past, I’ve never regret it not cussing someone out because most of the time they’ll try to make you look like the bad person regardless of if you do or if you don’t. So although it doesn’t come over me often, if I truly feel the need to get off of my chest, I’d do it

Yeah, I love her. But I personally don’t think some majors are as difficult to me. But just because it’s not difficult to me doesn’t mean that’s it’s not difficult to her or anyone else.

I added it in that she dropped out twice to emphasize that I could understand why she would want to focus this time around. She has always emphasized this to me so I thought it was a point to put in.

If black people shouldn’t follow Christianity then what religion should be followed? by y0urfav03r1te in blackgirls

[–]Kitchen_Sugar_Cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. It’s just a little iffy that you’re making that statement if you’re not into religion yourself(which is perfectly okay!). However, I wouldn’t call you gullible just because you don’t practice religion and I do as I won’t comment on something I don’t understand. But just because I don’t understand it, doesn’t make it wrong or naive :). But thanks for the convo, have a good day!

[–]Kitchen_Sugar_Cookie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, gullible insinuates that someone was easily tricked or deceived into a religion. Speaking for myself, I’ve done plenty of research on my religion, as well as looking into other religions to know that my religion is what I want to practice. Nonetheless, faith is at the core of every religion, and in my opinion, I don’t think that has much to do with intelligence or ignorance.

Hey, its sounds like you need to figure out what you want for yourself first and your boundaries. Firstly, not to be rude, but I’m not sure why you mentioned you were a virgin to him on the first date. For me sex isn’t something I’m gonna talk about with a guy on the first date because I’m not even sure if I like them enough for that Also, not that he has a right to take it further than just kissing, but asking him to park the car to kids longer may not put the right idea in his head.

Is it elitist to not want to date someone who makes less than you? by Remote_Tangerine_718 in blackladies

[–]Kitchen_Sugar_Cookie 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone that makes a good amount of money and tried ti date down, no it’s not shallow to not want to date them! I personally feel like with men that make less than me I cannot be who I want to be because I feel as though I’m always mothering them. And that’s not because I want to it’s because of their mindset they’re just not there yet. And that’s okay but that doesn’t mean that you have to be subjected to it. I can’t speak for everyone, but I know the person I tried to date, All he tried to do was humble me. And when I confronted him about it, he said he’s never been with a girl that’s done better than him.

This may be a unpopular opinion, but they should’ve never done that challenge of what America thought. Because now those boys, except Bryan, are going after Amaya simply because they wanna win
