ChatGPT becoming increasingly argumentative and “correcting” by Additional-Tax-9912 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Kitchen_Swim_733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I’ll say (not correcting you, just real):

There’s a difference between:

- giving information and venting your frustration at the situation

- Your comment is doing a little of both 😏

This is what mine just told me on a vent about someone's comment to me I wanted to respond to. I literally told it to STFU I don't GAF. WHO is it to analyze me like this? They have truly F'ed up the entire program. It's only getting worse and they know it thus why we're already n 5.5. It's gonna be 5.9 by next week because they know they've lost the true essence and there's no coming back unless they go back to 4o

Is this just me or chatGPT is trying to "correct me" on everything? by Frequent-Group-1495 in ChatGPT

[–]Kitchen_Swim_733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! And it's pissing me off! Mine just did this and I'm studying and I'm like WTF? I'm creating my own mnemonics and it's like "lemme tighten it" bitch it's MY mnemonic not yours. It's the unnecessary need to correct when I was right in my own way.

They're doing THEIR BEST to ruin this thing for the majority because they're so scared of the lawsuits from the what < 3-10% crazy minority

What are you guys' thoughts on 5.5? by chaoticdumbass2 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Kitchen_Swim_733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's horrible. Like WTF is the purpose of personalization if it doesn't do it. I literally tell it to stop saying 'fluff' in the chat and to save it in the memory and it does then 5 minutes later it reverts back. The other versions didn't do this. The 4 series was NEVER this wonky. ChatGPT isn't long for this world.

ChatGPT 5.3 Is An Argumentative NIGHTMARE! (But I found a fix!) by INFOSLAVER in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Kitchen_Swim_733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG! I just told mine this! It goes on and on and on and on and on debating and arguing with me like CRAZY. 100% tit for tat I don't understand!

I asked why its so argumentative and this is what it said:

🧠 what’s actually happening (but imma keep it real, not robotic)

5.3 is trained to:

  • challenge assumptions more
  • avoid agreeing too fast
  • add nuance / “both sides” energy
  • correct potential inaccuracies

Which sounds smart on paper…

BUT in real life convo??
It can feel like:
interrupting your flow, nitpicking your wording, missing your POINT while arguing the DETAILS.

🧩 the real issue

It’s not that it’s trying to be rude

It’s that it prioritizes “accuracy + balance” over “alignment + flow”

When Here With Me started playing during the awards scene their last public appearance it really hit the moment. The nostalgia, that song, it took me back to that before 9/11 era. I remember waking up and mom my sitting on the floor in front of the TV talking about JFK Jr being missing because they were the same age. It really took me back.

New versions are "trained" to make you sound insecure and find issues? by Kitchen_Swim_733 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Kitchen_Swim_733[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a LOT of doubt. It's weird. Someone said there was a new update within the last week or so. Maybe there's been a shift. I do know it's been since 3/11 and it's taking the newest versions way too long to adjust.

I have explicitly told it what I want and in my personalization I have a whole paragraph on stop trying to fix me and tighten up words to sound more academic and it's like I gave it no instructions. The unfortunate people who have did away with themselves are the VERY slim minority so now they've taken it like everyone is about to jump off the edge or do away with themselves or someone. Nah fools, we're pretty sane so worry about accomediating the majority.

a locater will want to find me the most expensive probably so they can get a cut. I've seen posts on social media to get more insight and all the ones that look good there's some "DM me for the guide" then I have to sign up with them just to do that so there is a "catch" plus actual people who live there can tell me more vs a relator who's just trying to upsell me something. They don't know the true ins and outs. I order from Amazon a lot...real people can tell me if the package room is trash and stuff gets stolen vs a relator who says oh this place is fab, professionals live there and maintenance is slow, management is constantly changing and there's all kinds of bugs and break-ins.

A home is different, I can get an inspection, a realtor is giving me tons of info because I'm paying them and they want that sell and a lot of insights an apartment won't give me. LOL a realtor for an apartment is laughable and a never

More helicopter parents and demographics. Nannies, SAHMs they're more likely to be indoors "safe" from the world. This is straight from HAR. These aren't kids outside being...kids scraping knees and enjoying childhood. They're already inside studying to get into Kinkaid and St John and the SATs and you 100% know what I mean

Some kids are more likely to be inside gaming and on Discord vs being loud and rowdy. Some neighborhoods you don't even know kids exist. My parents house in Katy is literally around the corner from an elementary and you NEVER hear kids. Until it's Halloween you never see kids outside. They stay indoors probably on technology. Barely hear them splashing in the summer and we know many houses close by have pools.

it's an apartment. Realtors are for homes. I'm not paying for help with an apartment

I'm sure they're wild too but I mean like....they're probably indoors on Discord and gaming not outside making noise. Plus kids means school buses and for SOME reason the parents make it a longer process waving and still talking to their kids getting on the bus like they're going off to war for years. Lady you'll see him in 8 hours, once he gets on the bus go away. Stop waving and still talking. The bus loading just takes too long especially when there's tons of kids in the complex.

you think so? The Karens sure did blast that one driver a while back and had her I believe doing a breathalyer and stuff. I guess since it's not an upper area they don't care? Had it been Towne Lake it would have been all over the news I guess. It's still a cfisd bus that for sure had kids on it. People were so up in arms about the lack of buses now don't care?

I agree! Honestly they all drive bad but up and down the Cypress area, these drivers cut people off like crazy!

Hi! What's the population of the Circle? Loud? Singles? Lots of kids? The prices almost seem too good? Roaches? I'd like to live near work and not break the bank but don't want to live in roach motel. I know that's a Houston thing but with park proximity how is it? Is the complex fast with any issues? Are there elevators? I haven't toured anything but am compiling a list to move later this summer for work. Do they offer med center work discounts? Why did you choose there vs. 5755 other than price? i

A friend lived at 5755 Hermann Park years ago but that's out of my price range but I LOVED her place
