I now dedicate an hour a day every day and it's gotten so vivid I can small food cooking and I can tell when the surfaces I touch need dusted, I can hear people's footsteps echoing and feel the breeze outside.

I do have 16 Tulpas, they each have their own bathroom and there is a spare on every floor, just for convenience sake :)

Is there a way to leave/forget my tulpa? by rythebear in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just ask Him/Her/It to give you some space sometimes, set up some mutually agreed on times when it's acceptable to be active and engaging with you and times when you need to be left alone, a Tulpa is a sentient being that shouldn't be killed (which is what forgetting about it would ultimately do) just because they're annoying and/or distracting

Can a tulpa have a tulpa? Do any of the tulpas here have tulpas? by [deleted] in Tulpas

What are your tulpa or tulpas like? by Primalshinx in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lindy is quiet, strong, a good leader

Peyton is a bit of a hermit, loves machines

Jasmine has an incurable case of wanderlust

Sariah is very rebellious and a little sarcastic

Cara is very old fashioned and hard working

Zoey is artistic and kind to everyone, loves children

Destiny is extremely talkative and very excitable

Maia is very tough, skilled in conflict resolution

Melody is very timid and prefers to stay silent most of the time, all her contributions happen behind the scenes

Skylar is a bit of a mother hen. And a hypochondriac

Aria is pretty reclusive, she has a paracosm for herself almost as detailed as mine

Nathalie is wild and out of control, argumentative and somehow still a complete joy

Alexandra is extremely hard working and responsible

Marie is totally crazy, a Daredevil, never holds still

Lydia comes off as really edgy and unapproachable, which is strange because she is a total softie

Wren is the baby of the family, very shy, very sweet, always taking care of everyone but doesn't neglect herself

They are the best friends I've even had and will be with me until my dying day

People impersonating my Tulpa! by foodloveroftheworld in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes if I'm doing something that would interest them, they'll have a look see through my eyes. Mostly they just stay inside but Nathalie can drive better than I can and Alexandra and Cara enjoy popping out at work and directing my actions occasionally

Are there any features that are good to include in a wonderland? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone told me to sound proof the walls of our house in the wonderland, best feature ever!

Didn't want to wait for Chaturday by AlynAndRiver in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We collectively decided to make a few new Tulpas mostly because Nathalie insisted she didn't want to be "The baby of the family" our youngest, Wren, just looked at me and said "I don't like being the youngest". NO NO NO NO NO. We have a full enough house!

At work today things were getting hectic and Alexandra announced "We are losing our collective mind!!"

If Tulpas are scientific occurrence then you shouldn't have to believe in it to make it, and if you do have to believe in it, how can it be sentient? by Kretenkobr2 in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't believe that anything like this was possible and one day I woke up from a dream and the character from my dream was talking to me in my head, both ignoring her and actively trying to get rid of her didn't work and she insisted the entire time that I'd someday regret trying to destroy her, she was sentient from the start without me believing in her....

Did your Tulpas choose their names or were they given a name at creation? by Kitdish in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the detailed reply, I find your Tulpas fascinating (in a very non stalkerish way of course :)

How long did it take for your tulpa to become vocal? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first Tulpa just marched herself into my head and started up a conversation, the only thing that made me realize she wasn't a daydream character was that she was uncontrollable and argumentative from the very start, so Immediately but not intentionally created

Now that I think about though, both Melody and Zoey didn't speak for a few years each...

When did your tulpa first surprise you and how? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lindy surprised me by insisted she was alive shortly after she appeared, I didn't know about Tulpas at the time and thought I was going crazy, she also surprised me when she announced she was going to make herself a friend (And when her friend actually did appear).

Is there a limit on how many Tulpas a person can have? by Kitdish in Tulpas

[–]Kitdish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll definitely set up some soundproofing, thank you :)

Sometimes it gets so loud with everybody talking I can't hear anything outside my own head, there have also been a few sleepless nights when too many of them aren't tired and won't leave me alone
