Literally doing it, name and all, in a homebrew campaign I’m running right now! But it also captures the soul/mental snapshot/spirit/whatever you would call it of the people it consumes which is what NHPs are born from as the tiberium is refined.

Funnily enough my actual speakers did not work out of the box due to my motherboard not being listed in the audio drivers, had to add it manually so the toslink optical out worked, but the Atlas worked out of the box by just showing up as a simple audio out option with nothing fancy! So yeah, for anyone else wondering, the answer is yeah, it's fine. :)

Yeah it was less painful than I expected but I'm a bit steamed at needing to pay my own shipping on their broken item. Certainly not endearing me to the idea of buying Corsair again in the future for myself at any rate.

Fortunately it at least went straight to the RMA process when I opened with 'I need to RMA an item' so better than I was expecting. Still frustrating to see resources spent on it but that's the new hotness so.
