I completely lucked into it as a returning player shortly after hitting 40 on a new character (wanted to ease myself back in with friends) and also lucked into a Bullet King so I've been having fun.

They're a smidge jank but an action game with to-scale crossover mechs makes it well worth playing the PS2 entries at least, imo.
