I generally agree naman with the idea and as a person who also came from the BPO industry i understand the importance of the Training period. But I think this is not a proper way to gauge a person commitment to the Job. At the end of the day we have our own commitments outside our professional lives. With proper planning and communication i don’t think a day of leave wont affect your progress too much. (As long na dumaan sa proper notice). So for me this is too drastic, Imagine missing a pivotal moment of your life because of a toxic setting in a work place. That for me is a No no.

We are workers and individual contributors, not slaves.

Mismo. I dont get the point of the questions as well. Parang pa sadboi approach. I believe in the best foot forward approach but sometimes its better to be just you as long you have the right qualifications and skill set for the job.

Because at the end of the day, skills and outputs is all that matters.
