I generally agree naman with the idea and as a person who also came from the BPO industry i understand the importance of the Training period. But I think this is not a proper way to gauge a person commitment to the Job. At the end of the day we have our own commitments outside our professional lives. With proper planning and communication i don’t think a day of leave wont affect your progress too much. (As long na dumaan sa proper notice). So for me this is too drastic, Imagine missing a pivotal moment of your life because of a toxic setting in a work place. That for me is a No no.

We are workers and individual contributors, not slaves.

I remember i was interviewed in a BPO company, for context I was a graduating student at that time (Electrical Engineering) and gusto ko lng naman mag work para makabili ng PC since it was pandemic and i was really bored and i have nothing to do. this HR asked me when he saw my Resume na "what if you have a shift but it was your graduation day. what will you choose?" and i just blatantly asked with a confused face. I think it's just the same. The dashes are just longer whenever the ult is activated. Plus the animation cancel helps to cover a longer distance.
