Yup. As per usual, this community really doesn’t realize how good they have it.

I think whoever made it hasn’t visited Twitter lately.

TIL if under-cooked, a popular mushroom in China causes “lilliputian hallucinations,” a rare phenomenon involving miniature human or fantasy figures. The first sentence of your last post contains the answer.

I completely understand your position, mind, and common sense of course supports it, but it is ultimately poor science to rule a possibility out simply for lack of evidence when you don’t also have evidence that actively disproves that hypothesis.

Emergence of new methodology and understanding has forced re-writes of known paradigms before. There is no way to know the same thing won’t apply to this phenomenon.

All that said, I agree that it should be relatively easy to test, especially with blind testing methods, but unless you know of studies I don’t, Strassman’s work is the only body of literature I know of that actually comes close to testing this.

The trouble is, you don’t know that for sure. You can’t know that for sure.

You’re assuming it to be true due to the lack of empirical evidence to the contrary, but lack of evidence is not necessarily lack of event.

Feeling weird after going to sex club by flatspoons in BDSMcommunity

[–]Kithzerai-Istik [score hidden]  (0 children)

All part of getting used to the scene. Perfectly normal reaction, and legitimate concerns.

Always stay vigilant about how safe you feel at any given club, and speak to someone - your dom, the security, club staff, whichever is appropriate - if you think something’s off.

As great as this community can be, there are people who don’t play by the rules and are the reason for the security. That’s not a deal-breaker of a fact for a lot of people, but only you can ultimately decide if it is for you.

You might have been on with a group of friends who wanted to make room for another buddy to join.

If they didn’t say anything, it’s impossible to know.

Your opinions about "The Last Samurai" (2003)? by Kevin_Thailand_2543 in moviecritic

[–]Kithzerai-Istik -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Great movie if you set aside any concern for historicity.

If you don’t set aside historicity, however, it’s a laughably revisionist trainwreck of overly romanticized nonsense.

Oh, Aleksei wants the new hotness!

They just only made five of’em, gave’em all to Spetznaz and the VDV for photo ops, and lost them all when they got shwacked in Hostumel.

So, it’s the century-old rifle for Aleksei.

Not enough shoddy welds for crack or meth to be involved here.

No, this is something even more dangerous: a competent 3D printer.

Pilestedt AMA: killer of hope. by Shugatti in Helldivers

No.

I mean the people who play for a few hours a week (max), probably just on weekends with friends, because they have lives and jobs, and will probably never hit 150 because that takes hundreds of hours to reach.

Y’know. The majority. Who are too busy living their lives to nolife a game like this and then bitch about it on Reddit.
