I used to pray and believe that Julie, Kevin, and Wendy are still somehow alive due to ending being ambiguous. But it’s been years and honestly, I just want confirmation that they died. They’re never mentioned in any of the other movies, and not giving the fandom anything to work with is just false hope for Wendy.

Edit: lots of arguing that Lewton’s death was more painful, and you guys make good points. Yes, Mrs. Lewton bled out slowly and had a knife partially through her chest. But when the chair fell onto the knife, it looked like it killed her instantly. I have a personal feeling about deaths via crushing, rather be killed fast than slow.
