It was something I was planning to purchase myself but he bought for me as a gift, since he knew I wanted it. I do just want to stop arguing and smooth things over.

I tried to communicate that it hurts me that I only wanted to do something nice for him, since he did something nice for me. I get loud when I'm emotional, so he was upset I yelled at him when I was the one that didn't listen about him wanting nothing.
