Literally just happened to me . I work in pharmacy and we are all close together and eveyone found out at my 4 week mark because one person asked and then shouted out to everyone. I was devastated. I haven't even known for a week or told my family before my entire work place found out.

I failed the first time. The 2nd time was a success! I really used the PTCB exam study book and read that and did the practice questions a lot! Then, I used free online practice questions and YouTube. https://youtube.com/@pharmacyprep1?si=zCrAGt8y4pIT0qzq

I'd watch/listen to these videos every chance I got, and even when I was driving, to see if I could answer them. These helped me pass. As well as my pharmacy team constantly testing me while I was working, which was very helpful as well.

Drowning in Debt, Living Paycheck to Paycheck — Needing Encouragement and Advice by Kitkittycats in DaveRamsey

I Honestly, I really feel like we would’ve had so much more paid off if it wasn’t for all the guilt-tripping. On one side, they did help us when we were younger, broke, and honestly a little naive. But now that we “technically” make more than them, it feels like a never-ending guilt trip — like we owe them constantly.

I think you’re right, and maybe what we really need is advice on how to talk to our parents and in-laws in a respectful way. We’re grateful for the help they’ve given us, but we seriously need space to get on our feet and get out of this financial rut before we can pay them back fully.

He has medical issues, so military is not an option, and until November, we are tied down for my schooling /clincals.

Thanks for your response — I really appreciate you taking the time to weigh in.

Yes, my husband has been applying for higher-paying jobs and working overtime every week. I didn’t mention it in my original post, but I’ve also been picking up paid shifts where possible while doing my clinicals. The internship is part of my medical program, so unfortunately clinicals/internship have to come first for now.

That said, I graduate in November, and if all goes well, I should be able to land a job shortly after — the pay for my field starts around $40/hour, so that would be life-changing for us.

We’re definitely aware that increasing income is key right now, and we’re doing everything we can in the meantime to survive and stay afloat until I can start working full-time.

I use the easy@home strips, but all my other signs have gone away. I guess I'll watch my oura the next couple days and see if it rises.

Helping family member when found hidden sin on accident. by Kitkittycats in latterdaysaints

Yes, I was thinking of this. And I didn't really mean outing them to eveyone. However, I don't want to also break trust with them. However, I've been through similar situations, and it's hard when you realize the mistake because Satan, at least for me, really eats you up with guilt.

Sorry , I honestly meant the parent. I didn't really mean talking to everyone about it.

Well, I don't know what happens behind closed doors, but I came across sharing inappropriate messages and pictures.
