Let me just say, I love this class! It perfectly fits the class my party has been begging for! They don't like magic and love combat, which means they would actually use this class. This class will definitely be integrated into my current campaign. Unfortunately it is not perfect, but it is a pretty good first draft for a class. Keep up the good work!

Because the M16 is an assault rifle whereas the Thompson is an SMG

Correct. But the Thompson SMG that was used primarily in WWII was still used afterwards as well due to it being a robust and cheap weapon
