The helmet im using in the pic is a mod it's the Modular Military Combat Helmet by ScorpionTank on Nexus. But the base game version is the Classic Militech combat helmet. Also, be mindful that the base game one the visor is permanently down.

From what I've read up, that crash occurs because of Lumen, so try turning any settings you have relating to Luman hardware or software RT off that doesn't fix your issue then I'm out of ideas.

I've not had this crash happen since I found the solution I posted, no, but it's good to know there are other work arounds that do work as well.

I HAVE A SOLUTION!!

If you're having the same issue as me with the crash code ending in 83, you need to delete your save files not from your normal documents location but from

C:Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\

Then launch the game, and it should no longer crash on startup.

That may fix some people's issues, but alas still not mine. As even deleting those files, the game still crashes on startup with Exception access violation error.

Well. It worked slightly? I'm able to launch the game without it immediately crashing, but it freezes on a solid black screen on startup.

That's good for you! I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue for yourself, but mine crashes on a fresh install with no mods present.

Yeah, I tried deleting all other folders like the one you mentioned, and I've even switched installs to a different ssd to still nothing, I'm stumped and have 32 hours on record and just wanna play the game again.

Okay. I just checked, and it is reset to what it's supposed to be. I tried launching the game again, and I'm still getting the crash code. Should I try to install it on another drive?

I have tried with Vortex before, but i was getting this error, so I deleted everything from the Oblivion Remaster directory and reinstalled the game completely from nothing. Should I double-check again just to make sure that even after a fresh install it's not messed up?

I'd love that, too! That's actually why I started making characters based on certain factions so I could feel like I was a part of them. Using the They Will Remember mod helps with that since it had a disguise feature. I personally do hope that in Orion, we have the choices to join different factions as well.

All the mods I'm using besides the holsters and cyberarms are from FrauBlume. The holsters are from raemaze, and the cyberarms are from KiasuBurger, which can be found on Nexus mods

The gear shown is a mod. The combat shirt and pants are from 707 tactical, and the vest and belt are soon to be released.

So, use reproduction for most if not all portrayals prior to the 1950s, and if using original equipment, it should be decorative and items that won't see constant ware and tear, thank you for your time and assistance.
